GREAT NEWS – Oliver’s first foal has been born to Atlantic Promise.
Promise had a filly foal on 25th March. Mother and daughter are doing well.
She is a tall black filly with a big white star on her head.
Promise is the very best mum and when asked to ‘talk’ to her foal to hurry her on to keep up, she whinnies on command!!

At about 2am on Wednesday the 2nd May 2007, Spinway Worth Waiting produced a fine big filly foal to Gentle Cascade. No name at present, she is bay and will go grey. Both mother and daughter are doing well. Worth’s owner Sue Halliwell was the first to be informed. I know Colin Jamieson will be pleased, as he brought Worth to me and he has a nice colt, from her.

Tucker had a great time at the Jubilee Celebration Day at Addington on 15th April 2007. He does love to show off and found the new indoor arena, just to his taste. What a brilliant day, with so many ponies and people. I hope you got the chance to be there.

We have had visitors from Denmark and Germany this year and it is good to meet people with the same addiction. It seems that we like the same ponies too, but does this mean we are breeding for the right ‘type’?
Oliver is with Jerome now and he appears to be covering well. Jerome says he is a good boy and the staff like him, that always helps !!
Sorry to say, Sydserff Sparkle turned out not to be in foal. We don’t know what happened as she was scanned with a heart beat at 22 days. She is for sale to the right home as I am trying to cut my numbers and she could easily be a very good ridden pony as she was professionally broken and competed a little as a four year old. She does breed very nice stock and with her good bloodlines, could make someone a brilliant foundation mare. Her dam has a stallion son in Ireland and Kirtling Brigadoon needs no introduction.

TOM (Braemar Be Lucky) continues his winning ways. Elle and he are now starting to do Working Hunter Pony competitions too. She tells me he jumps and really likes it.

Farriers First Thunderbird (Churchway Daybreak x unreg. Connemara) - owned and bred by Angela Platt and known at home as Zac. A grey gelding, six years old who has pleased all his connections.
Zac takes Angela hunting! - with the Grafton Hounds and according to Angela , loves it. His dam is an excellent hunter and is very mannerly. The Toddington & District Riding Club gives Angela and Zac chance to show off their jumping and dressage skills.

Tyan Candyman (Churchway Daybreak x Tyan Tallulagh) - owned by Chris Jones and bred by Anne and Tony Halfpenny.
Chris who loves her boy and draws those lovely pictures of him and his friend, that we see on the cards sold from the BCPS Caravan, came to see Tucker in the flesh this summer. We enjoyed her visit with Ann and Tony Halfpenny very much.
