CHURCHWAY DAYBREAK S86  - Presumed HWSD/N   Born 1992  Spinway Comet x Cluggan Drama

Tucker, as he was known at home was a small brown stallion standing just 13.1hh, with great bone and super movement that he passes on to his stock. A forward going pony who was ridden and driven. His stock have proven to have inherited not only his cadence but a great jump. Bred in Devon by Debbie Tucker (hence the name), by Supreme Champion Spinway Comet and out of Cluggan Drama.
Spinway Comet being by the famous Thunderbolt.

Drama was bred by Pam Foreman who was a founder member of the English Connemara Society and Drama was one of a long line of her good Cluggan mares.
Tucker was bought from the BCPS Sales List that I was running at the time!

Tucker's successful offspring include Braemar Be Lucky a prolific winner of flat showing classes, including Olympia and HOYS on several occasions. Braemar Bertie Buckle Working Hunter and Eventing etc., Braemar BrilliantBraemar Beautiful Driving, WH and Showjumping, Rathbawn Midnight Sun (Irish Sports Horse Register JA - SJ)
Walstead Heavenly Pearl In hand showing, WH and Flat Ridden. These few show his ability to sire ponies competing at the top level in all disciplines.
Tucker was the stallion with the highest placed progeny in the BCPS Performance Award Scheme for the seasons 2017/18 and 2018/19.

Gentle Cascade S141 -  N/N

Born 2002 by Laerkens Cascade Dawn x Gentle Carra.

I bought Gentle Cascade (Oliver), from his Irish Hall of Fame breeder John McLoughlin, from Letterfrack, as a weaned foal. He is not the first, in fact I've bought several foals from John over the years. Oliver’s dam Gentle Carra is a daughter of the famous Milford Wren, who had many show wins and championships throughout her life, including Dublin and Clifden.

Gentle Carra too had won at Clifden as a youngster.

Laerkens Cascade Dawn IS5 was bred in Denmark by Lene Neilson. He was imported into Ireland, standing with Joe McNamara and has proved to be very fertile, useful and successful, leaving some really good stock.

They all move well, have great bone and quality. Also Oliver has the best temperament and produces easy to handle offspring.

Oliver won the Junior Championship at the Breed Show in 2005 and the 4/5yr. Stallion Class in 2006. Broken and produced by Barbara Gallimore, he won in Novice classes ridden by her.

Gentle Cascade is now with Fran Tyler of the Riversdale Connemara Pony Stud in Wales having moved from Rachel Jones in North Wales,.I can thoroughly recommend using him, his Braemar daughters and sons are really super ponies and much admired. His part-breds perform well and are now eventing too.
