Braemar Gentle Reminder
Grey Colt born 3 May 2023 N/N Hoof Wall
'Robbie', is out of Gentle Lizzy and by Gentle Match. Gentle Match is by Fredericksminde Hazy Match and out of Gentle Wren. Gentle Lizzy is the dam of Braemar Gentle Legacy, (below).
He was born a big foal and has continued to grow with quality, nice bone and super movement. He has a nice head and kind outlook.
BGR now sold and his new stable name is Woody. He lives in Northampton and has a few connemara friends too! Good luck to Woody and the new owners.

Wannie Eileen by Ballinahown Hero and out of Sydserff Teresa. Bay Filly, born 2023, was bought from her breeder Denise Cowan (Wannie Stud), in Jan 2024. I decided on a change from grey and so she was the one I chose, she has a very sweet nature and is a real character! Her sire and dam both successful in Working Hunter Pony Classes. She passed her Filly Inspection in 2025.

Braemar Gentle Legacy Grey N/N Hoofwall
Nellie was born in 2021 to Gentle Lizzy ( Glencarrig Knight x Gentle Sally) and has proved to be an attractive and kind filly. She is by Gentle Cascade S141 and has his super temperament. Photos below are as a yearling and a two year old. She passed her Filly Inspection in April 23 and was shown at our local Area Connemara Show where she was Reserve Youngstock Champion, shown by Robbie Supple.

Braemar Gentle Legacy was taken to the BCPS Breed Show in 2024 and shown by Nicola O'Connell. She behaved beautifully and obtained a third prize, two wins and a Reserve Championship in the Tam-O-Shanter Final.
Together with her half sister, Braemar Peace, they won the Prefix Class. With Nicola's husband Chris showing Braemar Peace. Photos by Still Light Photography.

Braemar Gentle Legacy went to school in May 25 with Joseph Thurston and Elle Harmer at Wakes End Farm, Eversholt. Apart from one hickup, where she was called 'naughty Nellie', she apparently behaved very well and they were pleased with her progress. She has now come home for some down time to mature as she is only 4! But I think she did very well and I was pleased with the photos they sent me.

Realt Na Mara Grey N/HWSD
(Star of the sea)
Filly foal by Atlantic Tiger and out of Atlantic Irish Gamble. Born January 2020.
Bought from Peadar Lydon who bred her, in Ireland and I just fell for her, from her photo!
Due to Corvid 19 she has not had the showing career of her elder sister, who won and was placed at many shows with Peadar.

Niamh as she is known, is now 3 years old and broken and ridden lightly for a few weeks, now turned away to mature. She will be looking for a new home in 2024.
Niamh was sold in December to Emily and they are doing extremely well, winning rosettes at their first show and now competing in ridden classes. Good luck Emily with Niamh you are doing amazingly well.

Braemar Be Proud Grey Gelding by Churchway Daybreak S86 out of Braemar Prima.
Sold to Julia Hepburn in 2021 and now in a new home in Yorkshire having been outgrown by Julia's daughter Maddie.
He is just the nicest child's pony.
